Just Start | Weekly Practice Tip

I had a client boast to me one day, “I embrace more of your teachings than any other client on your program!” “Fantastic,” I said. I then went down a list of the teachings I knew I had shared with this client and asked him if he was following these teachings. He wasn't doing any of them!
The reason this doctor thought he embraced more of my teachings than any other client on my program is confusing to me. What I do know is he didn't understand the need to just start. So, he didn't.
Suggestions:
• Know what you need to do
• Start immediately
• Focus on making progress
• Let perfection take care of itself
Truth: For many, the resistance to just start is so powerful it becomes almost humanly impossible to do so.
Bottom line: A half hour may even be too much of a time commitment to get you to start. Try starting with 15 minutes; once you break through the resistance associated with starting you will be well on your way to completion and victory!
