Don't Fake it Till You Make It

'Fake it till you make it' is a common management philosophy. Here is the problem with this philosophy: Those who 'fake it' don't really intend to become anyone different or do anything differently than they are doing right now. The goal is simply to create the image.
Instead, we must think, feel and behave as a successful person would—no faking allowed.
Suggestions
• Know exactly how you need to think, feel, and behave to succeed.
• Discipline yourself to think, feel, and behave that way—regardless.
• Know exactly who you need to become to succeed.
• Become that person.
Truth
Those who are good at 'faking it' don't really intend to become anyone different or do anything differently than they are doing right now. They simply create the image.
Bottom Line
Success is a say, do, and be experience. You must say and do the right things, but first you must become the right person. Those who 'fake it' never become the right person.
Homework
• What one thing do I need to stop doing?
• What one thing do I need to keep doing?
• What one thing do I need to start doing?
